Fish Tears

I wonder if fish could cry, would their tears be seen by the ocean? I tried to encapsulate the vast feeling of the sea as well as a bit of liberation yet also a sense of confinement.

No One Will Teach Me How to Grow Up

This track was a collaboration with @Hhnglee featuring his amazing guitar solo! We were able to meet up a few months back and made some "music" together, so I based this drawing off of that moment.

I Wanna Be 15 for Another Year

Occasionally I have this fear of being too behind for my age, and every birthday feels like I am one year closer to being someone who doesn't live up to my own standards. This artwork was inspired by Salvador Dali's 'The Persistence of Memory'

Adenosine

My unhealthy obsession with overachieving tends to lead me to unhealthy habits. Adenosine levels in our brain rises as we work throughout the day, causing us to feel sleepy, but the caffeine present in beverages such as coffee tries to block them so we can stay awake. I wanted to portray a sense of fixation and addiction, but also a bit of desperation. I was inspired by Vietnamese lanes.

Mua Cu The Roi

This translates to "The Rain Keeps Falling Just Like That". It's common for people to associate sadness or tears with downpour, and I wanted to put my own spin to that concept. To let the rain mix in with my tears is another way for me to convey the act of masking your own emotions. The art could be interpreted as washing my real self away, but this one to me is more ambiguous.

This Lamp Looks Weird

The title is a reference to a Reddit story which ends in a perfect dream shattering to reality. Dreams of overachieving and being loved for it have always been one of the most euphoric ones, but that desired reality will forever be fleeting as I realise it is not what will give me love.

I Talk Alot, I Know

I've always carried a habit of oversharing or talking too much and I've always disliked that part of me. Sometimes I try to isolate myself because of it. I wanted to describe that act as standing in front of a broken window, leading to a pretty starscape. We could always reach in and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of it, as if it was reassurance, but in hestitation of getting hurt and carrying those shards to other people.

Surviving on 1hp

Everyone will have times where they feel restless and exhausted, and all you could do is let it flow through. To me, those moments feels like being submerged in water just barely enough to drown, yet serene and peaceful.

It's Okay to Be Okay (1)

We cannot really accept ourselves if we cannot also accept our flaws. It's fine to not be perfect or please everyone - which everyone says and is incredibly cliche at this point, but is true. I wanted to illustrate this idea as if it was my emotions walking me through my flaws, my own tears. This track is my favourite in the entire project, and I wanted to try and convey its pinnacle in the best way possible.

It's Okay to Be Okay (2)

Shattering the aquarium to me is like an act of accepting yourself, and letting everything flow in its natural way. This was my favourite illustration out of the 10 for the album, and it had to go through 2 changes because I really wanted it to be the best as possible.
